Lower Paxton Community Foundation - a nonprofit organization

The Lower Paxton Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization, incorporated in Pennsylvania, recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 organization.

Our purpose is to provide a funding mechanism for existing and future projects and organizations within the Township of Lower Paxton, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

Many community projects can benefit from the advantages of a 501(c)3 organization, but do not have the resources or longevity to justify the creation of a dedicated foundation.

The Lower Paxton Community Foundation provides the permanent ongoing support and structure for these projects.

All activities are conducted in accordance with Local, State, and Federal law.

Support for Local Organizations

We provide a funding mechanism for existing and future projects and organizations within the Township of Lower Paxton, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

Community Engagement

We will continue to create community events that bring our neighborhoods together and create a sense of belonging for all our residents.

Our History

In 2015 we organized a celebration for Linglestown's 250th birthday and two years later, one for the entire township. The community came together to help and had a great time. New friends were made and old friends rediscovered. We will keep the community spirit going with fun and educational events.

The organization will be a funding tool for community activities in order to advance our mission. All activities will be conducted in accordance with Local, State, and Federal law.

Our History

The Lower Paxton Community Foundation partners with and provides funding for the organizations and individuals working to make Lower Paxton Township a great community in which to live and work.

The LPCF concentrates on supporting the organizations that are preserving and presenting our community's past, including the preservation of historical structures, helps develop and maintain existing community assets like our park system, and promotes our neighborhoods as part of our larger community.

Our Leadership Team

The Lower Paxton Community Foundation is a non-profit, led by a team of neighbors that have been involved in our community for many years, including the 250th Celebration.

The Foundation supports existing organizations, including the Lower Paxton Historical Commission and other projects helping to support our community.
